MAC Mehr Lipstick (Rs 990 for 3 g) can be purchased from MAC store.MAC Mehr was part of limited edition Mickey Contractor collection. But due to its immense popularity, it has been made a permanent line shade.

Shade – MAC Mehr is described as Dirty Blue pink. But it comes out as a mauvish pink with matte finish. The shade is such that will suit all skin tones especially Indian tones.

Packaging– The packaging is similar to MAC permanent line lipstick having a matte black bullet with shade name and finish at the bottom.It is classy,sturdy and travel friendly.

Texture & Formula – MAC Mehr has Matte finish but it isn’t drying. The formula is great but it can accentuate dry flaky lips and can settle in the lip lines. So, lips should be properly exfoliated prior its application. It glides on easily but those having very dry lips can apply a lip balm underneath. It has vanilla fragrance similar to all MAC lip products.

Pigmentation – MAC Mehr is decently pigmented to cover lip pigmentation very well.It provides medium coverage in one swipe which can be built up further on. However, it is light weight and comfortable and doesn’t bleed on over application as it has matte finish.

Staying Power – The lipstick stays comfortably for a span of about 6 hours as it isn’t very creamy and stays put. It fades evenly but never leaves any stain or tint behind.

Overall Thoughts

I love MAC Mehr as it can be paired with many looks; day wear as well as for special occasions. It is such a shade that will compliment all skin tones. The formula is superb. It is matte but not overly drying.

It is a great shade and can be MLBB color for darker skin tones. It is decently pigmented and stays comfortably for good 6 hours. I have Lakme’ 9 to 5 Lipstick in Pink Color that is a close dupe for this shade. However, it is glossy and creamy on initial application but settles to similar matte finish.

I highly recommend this shade to everybody as it is easy to carry and the finish is great. It is not moisturising and hydrating but not drying as well. It does accentuate lip lines and dry flaky lips due to matte formula but proper lip exfoliation will help. Also, those having dry lips can use lip balm underneath.
