MAC Love Forever Pro Longwear Lipcreme Review Swatches

Summers are here and I have been hunting for some nice mauve pink shade that brightens up my face. I like wearing bright shades in summers. This lipstick is from the Pro Long wear range.

Shade- MAC Love Forever is a pretty blue toned mauve pink. It does come out as a bit fuchsia on lips. The shade varies on each skin tone. It can accentuate the blue undertone on darker tones and pink tones on fairer tones. On me, it comes out more as a bright mauve pink. Packaging- The packaging of the MAC Love Forever Pro Longwear Lipcreme is very sleek and classy having a matte black slender & elongated bullet. The shade name is provided at the bottom. It is sturdy and travel friendly. The lipstick shuts with a click sound making it more secure.Texture & Formula- Mac describes MAC Love Forever Pro Longwear Lipcreme as “light in texture, creamy in finish and comfortable long wear”. The lipstick has a rich and creamy formula which is smooth. It glides on easily without any pulling or tugging. The lipstick has vanilla fragrance which is reminiscent to all MAC lip products. It is light weight and very comfortable on lips. The lipstick settles to a matte finish after few minutes of application. However, it doesn’t settle in the lip lines. It can accentuate lip lines though.Pigmentation-  MAC Love Forever Pro Longwear Lipcreme is highly pigmented. One swipe imparts almost full coverage to lips. However, with this shade, you need an extra layer around the lip lines to cover pigmentation as it can look stark. It covers lip pigmentation in a single swipe.

Staying Power- Now, this is where the pro long wear range excels. The staying power of MAC Love Forever Pro Longwear Lipcreme in incredible. I have worn this lipstick for almost 9 hours with light snack and drinks included and my lipstick looked fresh. It fades evenly. My lips don’t feel dry after the lipstick wears off. It leaves a mild pink stain behind.

Overall Thoughts

I am highly impressed by the pro long wear range. The formula is amazing.  MAC Love Forever Pro Longwear Lipcreme  has rich, creamy texture which is easy to apply and comfortable on lips. I like the matte finish as it gives a polished look to the face. The staying power of the lipstick is great and the shade is highly pigmented. I highly recommend this range to everyone and especially to brides-to-be as the lipstick has good staying power.
