I am a big fan of highlighters and I recently spotted this beauty at a MAC store and found it really beautifully on warm tanned skin that I had to immediately pick it up. MAC Highlighters are not the best as I found some of them too glittery or chunky. MAC Global Glow is one of a kind and certainly an unsung hero. Read to know why.
Packaging – The packaging of the Mineralise Skin finish products are changed a bit now and they look more classy and come with a magnetic shut. It has no mirror or brush provided.
Shade – MAC Global Glow is a very beautiful light bronzy gold that compliments medium to deep skin very well. It is universally flattering but I wonder why it is not so famous as MAC Soft & Gentle ( which I found shimmery for my liking). Global Glow is not an “in your face highlighter” which will make you look like a disco ball but just blends beautifully and gives a natural shine and that’s what highlighters are actually for.
Texture & Formula – Global Glow has an amazing smooth, blendable, non glittery texture. You cannot see any glitter particles once its blended on the cheekbones. It is a safe highlighter for Indians and a must have for warm skin.
Staying Power – MAC Mineralise skin finish Global Glow stays for 4-5 hours easily. I have received so many compliments wearing it that my face is glowing.

Overall Thoughts
I highly recommend this highlighter. It can be used on the cheek bones, on the bridge of the nose and on the brow bone as well. It provides a beautiful sheen. You will certainly fall in love if you swatch MAC Global Glow Mineralize Skin finish at the store.
