MAC Gingerly Blush – Rs 1150, available at MAC Stores MAC Gingerly blush falls into sheertone category, that means its sheer but buildable. I always love sheer formulas as there is a room for looking natural. One can easily build up the shad to their liking.
MAC Gingerly Blush can be described as a peachy brown shade with hint of pink. Its a warm shade and will look absolutely stunning on Indian skintone. It looks very natural. Texture of MAC Gingerly Blush is smooth and doesn’t feel chalky whatsoever. I use it sheer during the day and build up the color for night outs.
Like I said MAC Gingerly Blush is sheertone blush so pigmentation is sheer/ average but buildable. This one shade will suit all skintones IMO. Staying power is good. It stays on me for good 6+ hours. I generally wear this on bare skin or over a tinted moisturizer/ BB cream.
Talking about the negative points, this is one shade dark skintones find difficult to show up on them. Also due to its sheer texture medium skintones need to keep layering it up till they get the desired results.
This is how it looks on me. I have swept the blush thrice to show it up in pictures. I use Real Techniques Blush Brush to apply it.
If you think pinks look most natural, then you might be wrong. I guess on Indian Skintones peach blushes look more natural. MAC Gingerly can be your best bet incase you want to wear blush to work. This looks most natural and flattering. Staying power is good and it doesn’t look ashy or chalky no matter how many layers you apply to build up the color. Fair skintones can use it to contour as well. I would recommend it girls like me who sport “No Makeup” makeup look often. However Dusky beauties can let it pass or try it in store before purchasing.
