MAC Fast Play Lipstick (Rs 1450/- INR for 3.5 gm)

The shade am sharing today is one of the hottest selling shade here in India and the sole reason is that it’s so easy to wear and looks really flattering on almost every skin tone and I have personally seen that over the years . We all look for perfect natural looking pink lips and in that quest almost spend so much but trust me, mark my words, take this and relax!

Shade – FAST PLAY is described as Neutral Pink Lipstick by MAC and as per the description it is warm toned natural looking brownish mauve pink shade with soft sheen to it which is the trademark of this finish. The sheen fades easily in 2 hrs and the satiny matte lips looks polished and sophisticated for hrs. It is perfect my lips but better shade for me and for most of us I would say.

Texture  – FAST PLAY is from Amplified finish , earlier it used to be my favourite finish but these days am so enjoying MAC Matte and MAC Satins and this comes at 3^rd place . It is not a bad finish at all, just that it is not long staying and pigmented like the other 2 finishes I mentioned, but again I will say that is just my personal opinion.

Pigmentation – Now having said that it is not as pigmented as mattes and satin, it is very well pigmented shade amongst most of the Amplified finish and packs a good amount of colour in one single stroke.

Staying Power – The lipstick stays nicely for 4 plus hrs on my lips with mild eating but the best part is that there is no uneven fading and also it doesn’t settle in fine lines. I bet if you use “Apply Blot, Apply Blot “technique then it will really stay longer time and comfortable on lips at the same time.

Overall Thoughts

If you are fond of neutral toned , natural looking  everyday easy to wear shade then MAC FAST PLAY is a perfect choice , it is very flattering without being over the top and is universally flattering shade . I have collected so many shades in this colour family but never got the satisfaction which FAST PLAY gives me.
