MAC Fabulous Three Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow (2 gm.) is a part of MAC Look in a Box All About Pink, and has an estimate value of $25. MAC Fabulous Three Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Review Swatches Price India (1)

The box itself in India is priced at 4800/- and is available at MAC stores. You can also check review of MAC Embrace Me Matte Lipstick which is also a part of Look In A Box Pink.

  • Fabulous Shade #1 is described by MAC as Soft Beige.
  • Fabulous Shade #2 is described by MAC as Frosted Peach.
  • Fabulous Shade #3 is described by MAC simply as Burgundy.

Packaging: MAC Fabulous Three comes in a very travel-friendly rectangular case with a clear top, through which I can see the colors quite easily. The glass lid shuts securely, making this excellent for traveling. As the three products together come up to only 2 gm., I believe finally I would be able to hit pan with this set.

Color: The three shades are extremely wearable. Although Fabulous #1 has been described as soft beige, it is more yellow, and has a frosty finish, making it excellent as a brow bone shade, as well as a highlighter. Fabulous #2 on the other hand is a lovely champagne color but has a lot of glitters in it, which shows once you apply it. I generally use this on my eye lids, and just pat some down when needed. Fabulous #3 was my favorite of the lot – a lovely dark wine shade with a satin finish which reminds me of Maybelline Pomegranate Punk a lot, and is extremely versatile.MAC Fabulous Three Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Review Swatches Price India (3)Texture and Formula: The texture of MAC Fabulous Three Fabulous #1 and Fabulous #3 are both very smooth, and when applied dry, they tend to blend in like a dream. I had no difficulty putting a combination of these two on my eyelids for a quick makeup. They blended like a dream, and were picked up by my brush very nicely. I had a bit of a problem with Fabulous #2, which had some fallout when I used my brush. But then I wet my brush and put this on wet like a liner, and it looked slightly darker, but much better.

Pigmentation: The pigmentation of Fabulous #2 and #3 are amazing. Fabulous #1 is sheer, but I think that’s okay because it blends much more easily, and turns up as a very subtle and fine shade, especially on my brow bone.MAC Fabulous Three Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Review Swatches Price India (2)Staying Power: Here is where all three shades perform very well. I wore all three for eight hour plus, and there was minimum fading, even without a primer, and in this humid weather. All three shades was worn individually, and although I did notice some fallout with Fabulous #2, others performed excellently on my face.

Overall Thought

The three shades from MAC that have been clubbed here are extremely wearable and have amazing texture and pigmentation. I would say these are excellent value for money, and are really suited to most skin tones because of their mostly neutral nature.

The thing is, when you see the box together – the fact that there’s a lipstick, lipgloss, eye pencil and three shadows bring the value of the box somewhere around 6.5K easily, so this is like getting a little discount.
