Today I have a beautiful fall shade to share with you which is from MAC’s permanent line and I’m sure you all must have read about this. MAC Dubonnet is another Classic shade just like MAC Russian Red and MAC Ruby Woo in RED COLOR FAMILY.

Shade – MAC Dubonnet is described as Deepened Claret, it is warm toned brick red shade and is favourite amongst olive skin tone .There is slight bit of soft sheen to it which makes it easy to wear as it is not flat out matte shade. The colour is so FALL Appropriate and you can see so many brands coming with shades like this every now and then but this is truly a CLASSIC.Texture & Formula – MAC Dubonnet comes from Amplified Cream formula, it has glossy finish and a slip to it. I use to adore the formula but now I find that it doesn’t stay as long as MATTE or SATIN finish stays. This is easy to glide on lips and doesn’t settle in fine lines or bleed and that’s the best part for a shade like this.

Staying Power – I get around 4 plus hours of wear with this shade and then it leave behind a deep red tint which stays for another hour or two.Pigmentation – Dubonnet is nicely pigmented and deposits 100 % colour in one swipe, another layer makes it look even more polished. There is enough glossiness to it so I don’t require any gloss on top.

Overall Thoughts

If you are somewhere around NC 40 and above and are scared of matte red shades then this may definitely impress you , Dubonnet is beautiful brick red shade which will suit effortlessly on olive skin tone and a must have shade from MAC’s permanent line .
