MAC Crosswires Lipstick Review Swatches

MAC Crosswires Lipstick (Rs 1190 for 0.10 oz) available at MAC StoresMy love for Corals,peaches, oranges, pinks  can never get less and this is one of the most raved about shade. It was Out of Stock most of the time. Finally, I own my MAC Crosswires.

Shade- MAC Crosswires is describes as a Clean Pinky Orange. For me, it is a stunning coral pink. It’s not bright to be called as a statement shade but very wearable and a fun shade. The shade as a subtle golden sheen that is barely visible.

Packaging- MAC Crosswires is a permanent line lip colour having matte black bullet with shade name provided at the bottom. It is sturdy and travel friendly.

Texture & Formula- The texture of the lipstick is buttery smooth and soft. It glides on evenly. MAC Crosswires Lipstick has crème sheen formula so it is creamy. It doesn’t settle in the lip lines .The formula is moisturising and doesn’t accentuate dry flaky lips. The lipstick provides a nice sheen to lips which makes them appear healthy .My lips stay soft when I apply it. It has vanilla fragrance similar to other MAC lip products.

Pigmentation- The shade is decently pigmented and one swipe provides medium to buildable coverage. MAC Crosswires  covers mild pigmented lips in one swipe and doesn’t bleed even if overdone.

Staying Power- MAC Crosswires stays for about 3-4 hours. It fades evenly without leaving nay stain behind. The shade provides a gorgeous healthy look to lips.

Overall Thoughts

I love the shade to the core and can totally understand why it is so raved. The shade is gorgeous, summery and always in trend. MAC Crosswires is such a shade that will suit all skin tones. However, it can appear coral on some and more pink on some. The shade is creamy and buttery soft. It is apt for all seasons. I like the sheen that it imparts to my lips. It stays for about 3-4 hours which is quite low since it is a crème sheen finish shade.

The formula is creamy and makes my lips very soft but its can accentuate the lip lines if the lips are pressed against each other. It fades out evenly but doesn’t leave a stain behind.

Overall, this is a must have shade for those who love corals and peaches. It is bright but muted at the same time and never looks overdone.
