The shadow which I’m sharing today is one of the Classic Eye Shadow – MAC Cranberry. I’m sure you must have seen this number of times virtually as the shade goes really well on Indian skin tone plus we usually use such shades in bridal looks often and while doing Indian bridal looks. I personally am very fond of this shade and like to do a smoky look and it looks very enticing.

Shade – MAC Cranberry is described as Red Plum with pink shimmer, it is beautifully gorgeous shade of warm toned pinkish purple berry shade with fine pearly sheen to it, and the sheen is finally milled and hence lends that soft glow rather frosty look.

Texture & Formula – The shadow is from FROST finish which is my absolute favourite as they are finally milled and the shimmer is not chunky or glittery to touch, rather it is very fine and feels like a soft sheen and adds the glow. The shade is very creamy and easy to work even if you are new to MAC eye shadows.

Pigmentation – The shadow is insanely pigmented and is opaque in single layer; it doesn’t need much layering and sits pretty on good base. As the powder is finally milled there is no fall out as such which cannot be rectified.

Staying power – I find with good base they show up really well and doesn’t fade easily , I get 7 – 8 hrs of wear with MAC shadows which I find is pretty good .

Overall Thoughts

MAC Cranberry is very basic and classic shade of festive berry which you see in so many Indian looks and something even if you want to skip there is no escape. The shade is very festive, very bridal and very Indian and hence I highly recommend you to swatch this the next time you are in MAC store.
