MAC Copper Pigment Review Swatches Photos EOTD

MAC Copper Pigment (1850/- INR) Available at MAC Pro StoreMAC Copper Pigment Review Swatches Photos EOTD (2)

These days every time I step in MAC store and ask their prices I thank my stars that thankfully their limited edition collection doesn’t impress me any more and I have tried almost every famous lipstick they offer. The only thing that I’m  drawn to , is their pigment which I adore like anything, they are truly addictive but the recent price is insane ,still I see if they have something interesting and this is how when I spotted this shade.

Shade MAC Copper Pigment is a PRO shade and hence you can only get this at Mumbai PRO store or Online at MAC Costmetics.com. COPPER is described as smooth, light high shine Copper and as the description says it is warm toned finally milled Bright Copper shade with soft golden touch to it.

Texture & Formula – Like MAC eye shadow even their pigment comes in different finishes; 4 to be precise – Frost, Pearl, Matte and Metallic, this is from their “METTALIC” range, there are only few shades in that but trust me they are mouth-watering and delight to use on eyes, absolutely finally milled and if you run your fingers you will feel as if there are water droplets; runny and fine in nature. MAC Copper has the best finish I would say; no chunky glitters or sparkles, the super fine texture is easy to blend and build.MAC Copper Pigment Review Swatches Photos EOTD (1)Staying Power – MAC Copper pigment stays nicely without fading or creasing with good base underneath easily 7 – 8 hrs plus.

Pigmentation – As it has “METTALIC” finish it is beautifully pigmented and is opaque in one single swipe, I use a flat brush like MAC 239 to use this, gently press this on lids so that it adheres nicely. It feels almost watery on lids and buttery to feel, you need very teeny tiny to get full coverage.

Usage – In eye look here I have used this on inner lids over primer and you can see true rich copper shade while on outer lids I layered it over brown eye shadow and you can see the transition.MAC Copper Pigment Review Swatches Photos EOTD (3)Packaging – MAC Pigments comes in small plastic jars with a translucent lid on top , there is no sifter and it can be messy at times , I keep some product in small jar whenever am using it so that there are no chances of spilling .

Overall Thoughts

There is regular shade “COPPER SPARKLE” available at MAC stores, don’t confuse with that one, this is finally milled and easier to work while that is more chunkier, I will show you that in my coming post. MAC Copper pigment is a beautiful shade to own and a must have if you love to play with pigments, they are versatile product and can be used in many ways and mixed to create new colours as well.

The idea of keeping the jar inside another container is really good. I once dropped my Barry M pigment..
