MAC Blue Peep Fluid Line Gel Liner (1650 /- INR for 3 gm, Available at MAC stores )
MAC recently reformulated their gel liner formula and have added ‘prolong wear ‘to the already existing line, although mine doesn’t read the same so am wondering if it’s the same or not. I picked this few days back when the collection launched, this is very unusual shade and something no one would purchase without trying, although I did! I don’t regret at all as am very experimental person and liner is something I really like to try around.
Shade – MAC Blue Peep is described as Bright Flat Teal, it is warm toned, matte, bright but not in your eyes Teal Blue shade and it is very vibrant and unique in my opinion. They shade may be little too out of the place if you love subtle colours on eyes but I personally love using this on and off with same colour dress and gets compliments too (surprisingly).
Texture – I have been using MAC Fluid lines since past 5 years and find them soft and creamy but this is reformulated and the texture was little dry as compared to the liner I tried in past , I wonder why , but this is not as soft and creamy as the regular old gel liners .
Pigmentation – MAC Blue Peep Fluid Line was almost opaque in single swipe but was looking little uneven so I would suggest a second layer which adds more evenness as you can see in swatches here.
Staying power – The liner stays easily for 7 – 8 hrs on my oily lids and there is just mild fading, I remove it with good makeup remover to get all traces off my eyes. They really are long staying as compared to gel liners other brand offers.
Overall Thoughts
I adore MAC Fluid line and after trying so many brands I feel they are the best when it comes to versatility and creamy texture plus they don’t dry out fast. The price is little too steep these days and this is the only con I could think of right now.
