MAC Bare Again is described as “Pinky neutral beige”. Bare Again Sheen Supreme Lipstick is a sheer, but buildable, warm beige-pink. It comes out as a warm neutral rosy-peach on my Olive skin tone. On fairer skin tone it will be more pinker.

Packaging- MAC Sheen Supreme lipsticks have a more elegant packaging compared to the permanent line MAC packaging. The y have an elongated, tall and thin tube which looks sleek. The packaging has glossy finish. I don’t have to worry about it melting as the lipstick can’t become slanted or loose from the base. Because there is no space between the walls of the lipstick tube and the actual lipstick. It is sturdy and travel friendly.
Texture & Formula- MAC Bare Again has a buttery smooth texture that glides on easily on lips without any tugging. It is creamy and very hydrating. The creamy nature of the lipstick leads to melting of the lipstick in hot temperature. It doesn’t accentuate dry flaky lips and blur lip lines.
However, after some time, it can settle in the lip lines. It has vanilla fragrance reminiscent to MAC lip products. The formula is very similar to YSL Rouge Volupte‘s formula.
Pigmentation- The shade provides decent amount of coverage but it being a slightly lighter shade, has to be swiped for proper coverage. The shade itself is gorgeous and it comes out differently on different skin tones.
On my olive skin, it is more of neutral rosy-peach. Bare Again is quite a buildable colour. You can go from making this look semi sheer to semi opaque to completely opaque.
Staying Power- MAC Bare Again lipstick has a staying power of around 2-2.5 hours which is decent for the shade it is. However, otherwise has definitely low staying power.

Overall Thoughts
I prefer completely matte or creamy finish lipsticks. These days I am completely into neutral shades and MAC Bare Again Sheen Supreme Lipstick fits in all criteria as per finish, shade, formula. I love the packaging as it is so sleek and elegant.
