Lotus Herbals Safe Sun UV Protect Body Lotion SPF 25 PA+++ Review

This summer I saw that my hands and legs were tanned pretty badly. And that’s when I thought of buying an anti tanning body lotion. So, I went to my favorite skin care shop and started browsing through the store. Just then I saw Lotus Herbals Safe Sun UV Protect Body Lotion SPF 25 PA+++. And since I am always a LOTUS HERBALS fan especially their sun protection products, so without giving any second thought I bought this. Read on the review to know how the product fared on me.

Packaging: Almost 90% of LOTUS products come in orange packaging. This one also comes in orange packaging having the product details like – claims, ingredients, and other details. It comes in a big sized tube which has a pump dispenser. I love body lotions with pump dispensers. It makes usage much easier. Through the pump dispenser you can control the amount of body lotion dispensed with.

Texture : Lotus Herbals Safe Sun UV Protect Body Lotion is creamy and slightly thick in texture. It is whitish in color. Like most of the sun protection or anti tanning products you need to make efforts to blend in into skin. It leaves a whitish cast but if you blend it properly it will go away. The sunscreen has a peculiar smell which I cannot recognise. I think the smell is similar to the chemicals which are mentioned in the ingredients list.

My Views :

The first day when I applied this body lotion it took efforts to blend into my skin. It is a thick creme and does not sink into the skin instantly. It takes good 5-7 minutes to get into the skin. So, don’t wear clothes directly after applying this otherwise your clothes might be messy. The smell of the creme does not stick to your skin. So, no issue for sensitive noses.

The lotion is undoubtedly good in terms of moisturization. It moisturizes my extremely dry skin for an entire day. Even after using water and all still the softness is there. But yes, coming to the major claim of anti tanning, you really need to be patient with this. Lotus Herbals Safe Sun UV Protect Body Lotion works on anti tanning extremely slowly. You will be able to see the benefits once you are on the verge of completion of the tube, approximately after 2.5-3 months.

Overall Thoughts

I find Lotus Herbals Safe Sun UV Protect Body Lotion good in terms of moisturization. But minus points for the sticky nature and slow anti tanning effect. But overall, a must try body lotion for summers as there are very few available which works in anti tanning area.
