Lotus Herbals Colour Dew Nail Enamels Review Swatches – Lavender Love, Fairy Flare, Go Grapes

Lotus Herbals Colour Dew Nail Enamels Rs 110 for 8 ml, available at Lotus HerbalsI am not a nail paint person, I hardly grow my nails and feel absolutely lazy when it comes to file and shape them. Being a mother of a one year old super naughty kid, waiting for the nail paint to dry is a task, during those 5 minutes she runs around the house and throws everything on the floor … Yeah and with freshly applied nail paint I go around cleaning and picking up stuffs = Ruined nail paint… Sigh

Coming back to the review I have used Lotus Herbals Colour Dew Nail Enamels once in past and the shade was Strawberry Shake, I totally loved the shade and formula. One thing I absolutely love about Lotus Nail Enamels is that they are Acetone, DBP and Toluene free. I have received 3 shades for review – Fairy Flare A coral pink shade, Go Grapes A minty Green Shade, Lavender Love A beautiful Lavender Shade.Lotus Herbals Colour Dew Nail Enamels come in slender glass bottles with an equally long cap and equally long applicator !! I somehow find the applicator a bit inconvenient due to its length, but talk about the brush and I will say the quality is great !Fairy Flare– I found the formula a bit on the thicker side, That means you get opaque finish in single coat but it gets streaky in second application. Also it took a bit to dry.  Lavender Love – The formula had right consistency neither runny nor thick. It applies really well. In the picture above I have applied 2 coats and that was enough to get opaque finish. It dries up pretty fast and stays on for good 4 days without chipping and 6-7 days with fading and chipping from the tip.

Go grapes has texture and staying power similar to Lavender Love and that is my favorite shade among the three.

Overall Thoughts

I find Lotus Herbals Colour Dew Nail Enamels decently priced with good quality. They stay on for good 4 days without chipping or fading. I love the fact that they are Acetone, DBP and Toluene free easily accessible online and in stores near you.
