Lotus ColorStylo Chubby Lip Color Review Swatches Photos Price

Nothing makes me more excited than new makeup launched. I saw these beautiful Chubby Lip Colors and was super excited to give them a go. Lotus ColorStylo Chubby Lip Color is available in 10 shades which is quite a range ! I was sent 4 of these and have been testing them out for 10 days now. Lets jump right into the review –

Lotus ColorStylo Chubby Lip Color – Orange Madness, Russian Red, Scarlet Pink, Rouge Desire

Packaging has been kept quite simple yet user friendly. Color coordinated crayons are easy to spot when you have more than one shade in your stash. Cap is translucent and looks really cute. These lip colors come in retractable packaging which is always preferred over the ones that need sharpening.

Shades – I have 4 shades –

Orange Obsession – Bright orange with red tone

Russian Red – Cool toned red

Scarlet Pink – Plum toned Pink

Rouge Desire – Medium berry color

All the shades are beautiful and would suit all skintones. I am not into orange lipsticks but this one is superbly pretty and I am surely going to wear it this summer/ spring.

Texture & Formula – Glossy pouts are back in trend and I have been seeing a lot of brands launching glossy lip products. Lotus ColorStylo Chubby Lip Colors are glossy and are quite comfortable on the lips, which is indeed a nice change after a flood of velvet matte lip pencils. Glossy formula gives an illusion of fuller lips. Texture is buttery and crayons glide on the lips without tugging or pulling. My dry lips don’t feel a need of additional lip balm.

Pigmentation – All the shades are quite pigmented and 2-3 swipes are enough to give semi-opaque finish. I have pigmented lips and all the 4 colors cover the darkness to a great extent.

Staying Power – Since the formula is quite glossy, the formula wears off in 3-4 hours leaving a strong tint behind that stays on for another 2-3 hours.

Overall Thoughts

I am quite impressed with the texture & Formula of Lotus ColorStylo Chubby Lip Colors. Shade range is quite vast and would love to explore more colors, maybe a neutral one which would be perfect for everyday.
