One can take their eye makeup to another level by adding a mascara . I personally love the effect a good mascara provides, it just gives a drastic change on the whole look . I have heard quite things about the L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara so picked it up .

It universally comes in three shades – black ,black-brown and carbon  black .Its a waterproof mascara .

Packaging – The L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara comes in sleek matte black tube with attractive golden cap. The writing on the tube is written in bold golden font which looks quite classy and high end . I Loved the whole gold and black combination .

What it claims :-

L’Oreal’s Carbon Black Voluminous Mascara is uniquely formulated to resist clumping, soften lashes, and build lashes up to 4X their natural thickness!  Unique maximizing formula quickly thickens and builds lashes in a single application for a full and dramatic lash look. 

Patented Volume Maximizing Brush thickens lashes evenly and smoothly leaving them soft with virtually no flakes, smudges or clumps.

I am totally impressed with this mascara as it has a true jet black color. It comes with a regular old fashioned wand brush that picks the right amount of mascara. Since it has super black color , one coat of this adorable mascara makes my lashes stand out without any eyeliner.

As it says voluminous , I found that they did separate my lashes and also provided me  with amazing  healthy volume and length which I always crave for. However applying three or more coats of this mascara can make your lashes appear like spider legs with clumps.

Being a water proof mascara it does not feel heavy at all and about the 4X thing on the description is definitely not true. L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara has amazing staying power as well. It does not flake and smudges. I literally had a hard time removing it I had to use baby oil twice to make it vanish totally .

Overall Thoughts

One can Wiggle the wand and add dramatic super black volume to lashes by L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara .I love the fact that it not only gives me right volume but also separates my lashes beautifully.

Being   super black I can wear it solo without any eyeliner .Sad part is that this one is not available in India yet.
