Shade – True to its name, the shade L’Oreal Vivid Rose is a Vivid pink with some peach undertones. It looks slight neon under artificial lighting. It has minute gold shimmer in it that is barely visible on lips.

Packaging – L’Oreal Vivid Rose has a very luxurious and classy packaging with glass finish lavender outer cover. The shade name and indicator is provided at the bottom. It is travel friendly and feels like a high end product.

Texture & Formula – The formula is very creamy and hydrating. It glides on smoothly and keeps the lips soft and supple. The lip color has a balmy texture and glides on easily providing ‘wet-glossy’ look to lips. The lipstick adds a lot of shine to lips.

The shimmer present in the lipstick is very soft and non-gritty. It is comfortable and light weight. The creamy texture of the lipstick leads to melting and breakage in hot climate.

Pigmentation – Nutri shine range basically has sheer shades. However, this shade provides medium to full coverage. It can be applied sheer and as a full shade will 3-4 swipes. However, over application can lead to lipstick bleeding and they can form lines on lips when lips are pressed against each other as the formula is very creamy.

Staying Power – L’Oreal Vivid rose stays for about 3 hours on lips leaving a strong pink stain behind. It fades evenly and the lips stay soft and moisturised even afterwards.

Overall Thoughts

I love this range and have 6 shades from it. The formula is amazing. It is very hydrating, light weight and comfortable. Also, the shades available are great for everyday wear.

L’Oreal Vivid Rose is a gorgeous shade of pink that has slight neon touch. It is a great shade for those who want to neon shades without going overboard. The texture is very balmy. It adds a lot of shine to lips making them appear healthy. It can easily melt and break in hot climate as the texture is very creamy.

The packaging is classy, travel friendly. My only grudge is the fact that the price is ever increasing from being rs.720 to rs.785.
