L’Oreal Sheer Plum Moist Matte Lipstick (Rs 899 for 4.2gms) 
Always a sucker for plum tones, I fell in love with the Sheer Plum lipstick the minute I saw it.
Packaging – The same coppery gold metallic case as all other Moist Matte Lipsticks. I like how they feel really rich and luxurious.
Shade – Now this lipstick is anything but sheer. L’Oreal Sheer Plum is a very deep plum shade that is completely dense and opaqe. The name suggests otherwise, and I was expecting it to wear a little clear, not so. The colour is dark with a very tiny bit of shimmer that is almost invisible. It reminds me of the retro deep maroon shades that are shown so often in period movies. Also check out reviews of Maple Mocha, Lincoln Rose, Raspberry Rose and Glamor Fuchsia
Texture – I find the texture almost the same on all the moist matte shades. It is not drying but I can’t use these lipsticks for more than a couple of days in a row. I need to mix this up with super hydrating colours to keep my lips in great shape. On its own, the formula is creamy and nice but not super hydrating.
Pigmentation – Very very dense and opaque, I get full coverage in one swipe. L’Oreal Sheer Plum adds a ton of colour and elegance to your overall look. There is clearly something to be said about a deep plum lip – I love the look . This is almost a perfect plum, ideal coverage. I also get a nice tint after it wears off.
Longevity – Sheer Plum lasts for over 5 to 6 hours with a meal in between. The fading, when it finally happens is even. I find this the longest lasting of the 3 shades that I have, Spring Rossette, Maple Mocha and Sheer Plum.
Overall Thoughts
Love L’Oreal Sheer Plum Moist Matte Lipstick. Love how classy, elegant and sassy it looks once worn. I use this mainly for evening wear, but you may just be able to carry this off for work if you have a duskier complexion. It’s amazing how well this transforms your look in just one swipe. Love!
