Infallible Lip Colour is a luxurious, comfortable and long lasting lip colour. The new range has with a broad spectrum of 15 gorgeous shades, from subdued neutrals to lively, vibrant shades. It offers 24 hours of vivid, high definition colour.
I like L’Oreal lipsticks but due the recent steep price hikes by the brand has really put me off. Infact all the major brands are increasing prices like there is no tomorrow. Recently I spotted there new Infallible lipsticks in the store and picked 1 out of 11 available shades. Only to realise later that these have been relaunched with an improved packaging. I have not tried previous ones but names and shades are similar.
Packaging is sturdy and nice. Color of the cap almost matches the lipstick color.
Shade – For me L’Oreal Resilient Raisin is a hard to describe color, its a brown with red hints. I was never into browns but these days since I already have enough of berries, plums and reds, the only shade left to explore is brown. Texture & Formula – L’Oreal Resilient Raisin is a semi- creamy shimmer-free formula. It glides on like a butter and sets as a semi-matte shade after a couple of hours. Color looses its creamy shine and looks pretty matte after a meal of so. I like when it turns matte so I always blot my lips with a tissue to take off excess color & creaminess. Surprisingly despite of being a long wearing formula it doesn’t feel drying on lips. I have dry lips and even after applying it without a lip balm, the formula doesn’t accentuates fine lines or cracks on lips. However I make sure to exfoliate my lips before applying any long wearing lipstick.
Pigmentation – Formula is richly pigmented and one stroke is all you need.
Staying Power – I am very impressed with the staying power of L’Oreal Resilient Raisin. I have worn it for good 7+ hours and it lasted on my lips with minimal fading after meals. After sometime the color stops transferring and stays on almost like a matte stain.
Overall Thoughts
L’Oreal Resilient Raisin Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick is one of the best long staying formulas in the market. It feels very moisturising on lips and provides a semi-matte finish. Only hitch is the price which might stop me from buying more shades from this range.

oh…I wanted to c the review…m not a big fan of the Loreal lipsticks because of their weird smell but looks like his forumula is better… Unfortuntely the pricing??? not done!!
