L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni.art Fresh dust comes with a unique formula that absorbs excess oil from the roots and scalp, giving your hair a healthy bounce, a clean and oil-free feel. The translucent light powder adds body, softens and refreshes hair adding texture to the lengths. The product is quick and easy to use – just spray it on the roots and lightly on the lengths, work it gently by massaging it into your scalp and brush it out effortlessly for refreshed style with a textured feel. You’ll notice, it leaves absolutely no residue or colour.

I always get fascinated with the “Dry Shampoo” term. In india its a new product/ concept. There are some international brands that have come up with their own versions of dry shampoo. Recently I got a chance to test “L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni.art Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo”  and after using it for good 3 weeks here I am with my thoughts.

Dry Shampoo is a shampoo in powder form, used without the addition of water. That means you can spray the product on your hair roots and it will absorb oil or grease. In my opinion dry shampoo works best on hair that have been washed a day ago, in short second day hair. 

These days we all run short of time during getting ready in the morning to college or to work. There are times when my hair start looking limp, though I don’t have oily hair, but even then they turn a bit flat on the crown on second day.

The Product –

L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni.art FRESH Dust Dry Shampoo comes in a spray canister. Using it is pretty easy, section your hair from the front and spray dry shampoo directly on to the roots. Leave it for 5-6 minutes and then comb your hair. You can also gently rub the shampoo in your scalp/ roots by massaging it in circular strokes.

L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni.art FRESH Dust Dry Shampoo has a nice fresh scent and the shampoo is clear, I mean its not powdery or leaves any residue on scalp. I gives some volume too, hair looks as good as freshly washed. Though it doesn’t work on very oily scalp. I tested it on my husband’s hair, he has very oily scalp, that turns oily next day of wash. It didn’t work on him.

Overall Thoughts

I like using L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni.art FRESH Dust Dry Shampoo on second day or whenever I am going out and want to give some boost, freshness and volume to my hair. Its easy to use and leaves hair smelling fresh without leaving any residue. However it doesn’t give a lot of volume to hair, you can see it lifting up the hair, but nothing too dramatic/ noticeable. Also the shampoo might not work well on too oily hair. The bottle is huge and will last a long time, only issue is with the sourcing/ availability of the product.
