L’Oreal Paris has recently launched La Vie En Rose Collection Star Range also known as Pink Perfection. The range has hues of pinks endorsed by various Celebrities. I love pinks and reds, and their Collection Star Red range is one of my all time favorite range when it comes to red lipsticks. I was so happy to see the launch and wanted to give these a shot. So today I have the entire range with me and I will share swatches of all the shades in this post.

L’Oreal Paris Moist Mat lipstick has one of the best matte formulas, soft and comfortable with a velvet matte finish. Matte finish is a challenge to pull off so it is always advised to exfoliate lips before applying any matte lipstick to get rid of crusty skin & uneven finish. The range has 7 shades –
Naomi, Blake, Aishwarya, Eva, Doutzen, Liya , J’Lo L’Oreal Paris La Vie En Rose Collection Star Moist Mat Lipstick
Naomi’s Pink – Sheer Pale Pink with subtle shimmer. The formula is quite streaky and doesn’t give an even finish. You have to layer it up multiple times to get even application of formula. Also this one has the tendency of settling in lip lines. The color is quite pale, which will suit very fair to fair complexions.
Blake’s Pink – Coral with gold shimmer. Shimmer is subtle and doesn’t show up much, but adds shine to the formula. Its a beautiful color and would be perfect for those who love corals. Formula & Texture is also good and I could get a non-patchy even application easily.
Aishwarya’s Pink – Rosey Pink with subtle shimmer. Formula is quite sheer but the texture is smooth and even. Shimmer is minimal and doesn’t show up much upon application. Perfect for those who are looking for an everyday pink.
Eva’s Pink – Dusty Rose, a perfect nude pink for medium complexion. I really like this shade as an everyday color. It has subtle pink shimmer that shows up after application, the formula gets patchy and settles in lip lines though, which is a bummer because I absolutely adore this shade !
Doutzen’s Pink – Blue Based Bright pink with hint of shimmers. Its such a stunning shade ! Absolute pleasure to apply, texture is smooth and offers even finish. Formula doesn’t settle in lip lines and brightens up the complexion !
Liya’s Pink – Fuchsia with subtle pink shimmers. Another stunner and one of my favorite shades from the range. Color is deep enough to give even coverage, texture is smooth and glides on smoothly without getting patchy or settling in fine lines. Fuchsia with a velvet finish is all you need this spring/ summer !
J’Lo’s Pink – Berry Pink with shimmer. My most favorite shade from the entire range ! I love it to bits. A perfect berry with a beautiful formula. The texture is smooth and doesn’t get uneven or patchy. Perfect shade for all skintones.
I have observed that lighter shades struggle a little in finish department, as the texture tends to get patchy and uneven. Darker shades have beautiful formula and finish. I love Eva, Doutzen, Liya & J’Lo pinks. Recommended for medium to deeper skintones !

I love L’Oreal Paris L’Extraordinaire Mat Lip Colors. Perfect smooth formula which can give high end products a run for their money. Finish is semi-matte and staying power is good. L’Oreal Paris La Vie En Rose Collection Star Range has 5 L’Extraordinaire Mat and here are the swatches –

Texture of these mat lip colors is the same across the board. Creamy, buttery and glides on smoothly. I really like Orchid (Katrina’s pink) and Magnolia (Julianne’s Pink). If you love coral pinks that do try Azalea which is Sonam’s Pink.
