L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick Pink Passion Rs 825, available at Nykaa
Few months ago, I was in the mood to splurge because I did not shop from a long time. So I straight away entered the beauty store and I got NYX Black label lipstick “Chakra”, Revlon lip stains in Sweetheart and Honey Douce and last but not the least L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Pink Passion. Now, I usually run away from L’Oreal Counters. I feel they are expensive for no rhyme-o-reason. I might spend 100-200 bucks more and buy a MAC Lipstick instead of a lipstick that cost me Rs. 825. But this particular shade, caught my attention and my legs didn’t move till I bought it. Also I got a tiny mini discount so I bought it without thinking further.
Texture and Formula- It is buttery soft and smooth. It has creamy texture because of which it glides smoothly. My lips look pumped up with this lipstick. However, girls who have dry lips may not like it because it does settle in fine lines slightly.
Pigmentation– The lipstick gives medium to full coverage on lips. I have slightly pigmented lips and I hate how some lipstick does not hide pigmentation. This lipstick hides pigmented lips beautifully.
Staying power– The staying power of the lipstick is 3 hours. And after that it leaves a pretty pink tint on my lips. Because of its creamy texture it is not one of those long lasting lipstick. I don’t mind re-applying my lipsticks. I always find reasons to finish them up, so that I can buy new ones.
Overall Thoughts-
I have been using this lipstick daily to work since a week now. I had received many compliments and queries on the shade I am wearing. But I would like to mention that it looks different on different skintones and yet can look beautiful on everyone. This is one universal shade. It’s a beautiful coral-cum-pink shade which can be worn on any occasion.I also love wearing this shade on smokey black eyes. Coming to the fragrance, it has the typical L’Oreal fragrance, if you know what I mean ;-)and the classy L’Oreal packaging with all gold cover.Please be away if you have very dry lips because this lipstick does need exfoliation before applying it. Otherwise, it may accentuate fine lines on your lips. All in all, I would like to say L’Oreal has nailed it again with this shade. No wonder they are on the pricier side. But some of their shades are just irresistible and one of them is the Pink Passion.

I Loved the color .. it comes out as a very soft pink on my lips. I top it with Maybelline high shine lip gloss in One Shine Day and the combo looks deadly se*y 😉
