L’Oreal is launching new products one after another, almost every month. I saw L’Oréal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude on nykaa instagram and decided to place an order. These palettes were doing rounds on international blogs & YouTube channels and was waiting impatiently for these to launch here. I am so glad that these drugstore brands are launching such eye shadow palettes in India. These palettes are quite sleek & small though, unlike what you see on YouTube channels (European).
There were two color options – Rose & Beige. Initially I was picking only rose, because I don’t own a single rose hued eye shadow palette and it seemed quite promising. However I picked both in the end for a quick swatch & comparison post. Rs 1399 for an eye shadow palette that too from a drugstore brand is quite expensive.

Both the palettes come with full size mirrors and a mix of 5 matte & 5 shimmery shades.
L’Oréal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude Rose has rose & plum toned eye shadows. I am quite excited about this one, because of the hues and the fact that I love plum tones. Upon swatching I could see that there were some hits and misses. Some eye shadows didn’t show up on my skin which is a bummer !

Two of the matte shades didn’t swatch well, and hardly show up. The last 5 shades were of good quality.
L’Oréal Paris Color Riche LA Palette Nude Beige Swatches
The L’Oréal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude Beige has a mix of matte & shimmery neutral eye shadows. Again the lighter and matte shades are hard to swatch. I haven’t tried any of the palettes yet (for eye makeup) so hoping that these will show up better on a good eye primer.
As you can see from the above swatches only first shimmery shade didn’t show up well, except that all the shades are quite smooth & creamy.
So far these palettes are available online at Nykaa & Habbanaco. I couldn’t find them in stores around me.
With Maybelline’s last month’s launch – The Nudes Eye Shadow palette already in the market, with more or less same texture & color payoff, but with a huge price difference, there will be a tough battle ! I will be posting a comparison post between the two palettes soon.

Love you for your honest words! I was eyeing the rose one but I think I will skip them unless I see them work wonders with eye primer. I already have the Maybelline one and I love that. I think that those 900 bucks I spent was well worth it. But, this does not look like that. I will wait for your comparison post.

The one available in India is Loreal La Pallete and the one sold internationally is Loreal Color Riche La palette. Please be aware they are not the same in terms of colour and packaging and even formula. Its quite confusing and I guess many ended up buying reading reviews and swatches by international bloggers.
Its says Made in USA.
