L’Oréal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude Beige (Rs 1399)

L’Oreal Paris has launched these much awaited LA Palette Nude in India earlier this month. There are two shades available out of which you can check out the review of L’Oréal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude Rose . I picked both the palettes for review and after testing out for good 2 weeks, I am sharing my thoughts on L’Oréal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude Beige.

Packaging is sleek & simple. It comes with a full size mirror and a dual ended brush.

Shades – L’Oréal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude Beige has neutral shades. If you love browns this one eyeshadow palette is a must have. One can use it to create matte daytime look or shimmery night time / party makeup. It has a mix of both matte & shimmer shades. 

I really like the fact that you get a choice of so many browns, which is something I love, loads of transition or crease color.

Texture & Formula – Matte shades are quite smooth & buttery. They apply and blend nicely and easily. However case is not same with shimmery eyeshadows, they have poor color payoff and some of them don’t even show up when swatched. I have to use them wet or over an opaque base, otherwise no matter how much you pack them on, the color wouldn’t show up. The only black is not intense black which is downer, however its not chalky or powdery and quite easy to blend.

Pigmentation – It varies across the board, and you might have already seen in in the above swatches. The darker shades show up nicely however similar to Rose palette, the lighter shimmery shades are hard to swatch.

Still I prefer L’Oréal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude Beige over Rose, because it has better pigmentation and color options as compared to the latter. There are loads of dark shaded which is always a plus for darker skintones like mine. Also all the shades are quite easy to work with except for the two that didn’t swatch in the above picture.

Overall Thoughts

If you love neutral eye shadows than L’Oréal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude Beige is a good choice. The shades are decently pigmented and quite blendable. Only downside is the quality of the palette doesn’t justify the price tag.
