L’Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation ($12.95/rs.750 for 30 ml)

I had been longing to get my hands on L’Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation and I am so glad I have this with me now.

It hasn’t launched in India yet and I have purchased the foundation from The Make-up House on Instagram.

Shade- I picked the shade W3 (Gold Linen) which matches my NC35-37 skin tone perfectly. I have always been lucky to get my perfect shade in L’oreal.W3 has yellow undertones.

Packaging- The packaging is just adorable with a glass body ad a pump dispenser. The most attractive thing is the rose gold metallic pump dispenser which adds to the beauty of the bottle. The pump is very receptive to touch and can be cleaned easily. The shade name is provide on the top of the plastic cap.

Texture & Formula- The foundation has a slightly runny consistency. It is quite runny but very easy to work out with. It is easy to apply and blend. It has mild fragrance reminiscent to L’oreal products but it goes off soon. The foundation doesn’t settle in the lines of the face nor leads to a cakey finish even after 3 layers. The finish is dewy and those with oily-combination skin definitely need a setting powder.

Coverage/Pigmentation- Coming to the coverage, the foundation offers very light; almost sheer coverage in one layer which can be built up to medium coverage with another layer. However, it will not provide full coverage. It is good for those who prefer light, almost there makeup look. The finish is very natural & radiant; it does provide and even look to face and blurs redness but major problem areas need concealing.

Staying Power- In this hot-humid weather, L’Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation lasted for about 6-7 hours which is average and it needs a dust off finishing powder after 3-4 hours.

Overall Thoughts

I am loving L’Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation these days as I prefer no-makeup looks and hi sis great to provide a radiant finish. The foundation does transfer a bit in this weather but it isn’t a major problem. This foundation is for those who like natural looks and are happy with light to medium coverage!
