L’Oreal Cassis Passion Color Riche Lip Color ( Rs 785/- for 4.7 g) available at MyntraL’Oreal Says – Color Riche Made for Me is enriched with Vitamin E and helps to protect your lips from drying. It has a soft and creamy texture and it leaves lips feeling moisturised, smooth with a stunning finish.

Shade – L’Oreal Cassis Passion is a rich pink shade bordering towards magenta.

Packaging – The shiny light gold color is what attracted me to this color in the first place. I went over, checked the shades, got bowled over by this one, and picked up. It has a strong clasp which shuts with a click, and is very travel-friendly.

Texture and Pigmentation – The texture of L’Oreal Cassis Passion, again, is a major winner. It glides on very smoothly and goes opaque in one go, which means I don’t have to work at it for a long time. There is no bleeding, flaking or drying of the lips. This is a very hydrating shade and it has quite good pigmentation which goes opaque in one coat and intense in a second one. In all the pictures I am wearing only one coat of the lipstick.

Color and Staying Power – The color L’Oreal Cassis Passion is an absolute winner. It looks much darker in the bullet form, but on my lips it’s a clear berry-tinged pink with a slightly creamy finish bordering on gloss, which is super flattering against my skin tone. Although apparently it is meant for blondes, I realized I could totally rock this shade, and it looks very good against my NC 42-43 skin tone. The staying power is also quite good – 4-5 hours easily and yes, it does not flake or fade. If I eat, it leaves behind a pink stain which looks great on me. However, repairing is a good thing after dinner.

Overall Thoughts

Although L’Oreal claims that this shade is for blondes, I sort of fell in love with it on one of my trips around the shop and I do not regret the purchase at all. It makes my lips look incredible, and it is such a gorgeous color for the Fall season. Full marks for the color, pigmentation, packaging and hydration.
