If you ask me about my favorite matte lipstick formula, than I will say “L’Oreal Moist Matte Lipstick” without thinking twice. I have reviewed quite a few of them on the blog and here I am with rest of the 3 shades from the range. I love the rose-gold packaging and a small window that shows the color of the lipstick.

Shades – L’Oreal Black Cherry, Flaming Kiss , Blaze Of Red Moist Matte Lipsticks are all various shades of red. Black Cherry is a deep dark red, Blaze of Red is red with pink tone, Flaming Kiss is a bright warm toned red. I love all three specially blaze of red.  All the 3 shades would look absolutely stunning on all skintones.

Texture & Formula – True to their name, L’Oreal Moist Matte Lipstick has a soft velvet matte formula. Unlike regular drying matte lipsticks these glide on smoothly without tugging or pulling. The texture feels creamy upon application but settles into a velvet matte finish. None of the shades settle into lip lines or bleed outside lips. I love how my lips look softer and fuller with this formula on. Black Cherry is a perfect fall/ winter shade.

Pigmentation – You can check out the swatches in the above picture which are just one swipe of the color. All the three shades are saturated with color and one stroke is more than enough to deposit rich color on your lips.

Staying Power – L’Oreal Moist Matte Lipsticks stays on for good 5-6 hours on me. These lipsticks don’t fade unevenly and survive through meals.

Only and the biggest downside is that these lipsticks are so soft that a slightest pressure can result into breakage. I have two of these broken from the base, which is surely inconvenient.

Overall Thoughts

L’Oreal Black Cherry, Flaming Kiss , Blaze Of Red Moist Matte Lipstick are excellent choices if you are looking for a matte red lipstick. There are number of shades available in this range that cater to all skintones. Formula & texture is awesome , so is the staying power. These lipsticks have a really soft texture so use them very gently to avoid breakage.
