This time I tried shower gel from one of the premium brands – Loccitane. Read on to know if the premium brand – Loccitane impressed me or not with it’s Loccitane Rose Bath & Shower Gel.

Packaging: In terms of packaging Loccitane is always a winner. It’s products are always thoughtfully and securely packed. This shower gel comes in a medium sized bottle which has a screw opening at the top. The bottle contains all the product details which is quite descriptive and informative.

Texture: texture wise Loccitane Rose Bath & Shower Gel is thick and similar to any others shower gels. The consistency of the shower gel is gel based and it needs to be heavily diluted with water to make it runnier. But the shower gel easy gets dissolved with water so that’s a huge USP.

The smell of the gel based shower gel is not bothersome. Since it’s a rose based shower gel, it smells of roses but nothing bothersome. So, sensitive noses need not to worry. The shower gel easily gets spread on loofah and then you can dilute it water to get the desired consistency. After which the shower gels spread on body quite easily.

The gel when spread on body smells heavily and I just love the feel of that smell. Anyways, it scrubs average. There is no scrubbing particles or granules in the shower gel. But you must remember that it is a shower gel and not a scrub. So, don’t expect miraculous scrubbing benefits. It still removes dead cells when used on daily basis. The bottle has a good amount of shower gel. And since a very little amount is required per usage. So, a single bottle will last you long enough.

Overall Thoughts

Loccitane Rose Bath & Shower Gel is good though nothing miraculous. But as per the higher price paid I will expect it to deliver something great. So, this product overall has been a ouch buy for me.
