Lisa Haydon Naked Potion Lotion Review Photos Price

Lisa Haydon Naked Potion Lotion (Rs 990 for 75 gms) from fabbbag.comLisa Haydon Naked Potion Lotion (1)A while back I had read about Lisa Haydon mixing up some essential oils and creams to make her own skin care and thought that was such a WOW idea.  Well she’s now decided to share her beauty secrets with the rest of us by selling her brand albeit through a very limited channel.  This is currently only available on fabbag.comLisa Haydon Naked Potion Lotion (3)The Packaging – Lisa Haydon Naked Potion Lotion comes in a glass jar with a screw top lid, very much like that of a jam jar.   The lotion itself is handmade and needs to be refreigerated.  Now, for something that needs to live in your fridge, I feel the packaging is not very well thought out.  The bottle is an awkward size and does not fit really well anywhere.  Mine stays near the egg tray cause the rest of the shelves are too big.  Also, I would really like a non breakable packaging.  When you pull it out to apply the moisture that sits on the lid makes it a little difficult to hold and open.

Naked Potion Lotion – When you open this, you get an immediate whiff of rose.  I personally don’t care much about smells, but for those who are sensitive you may not like this. Naked Potion Lotion is lightweight and gets absorbed very quickly.   Though as I get it out of the fridge to apply, I need to warm it up a bit with my fingers or my face gets a rude shock of cold lotion.Lisa Haydon Naked Potion Lotion (2)Naked Potion Lotion is not very greasy and spreads easily.  I find no real difference in my skin after using this for about a month.  I also have oily skin and need to use this sparingly.  I also need to alternate this with other lotions every few days to avoid pimples.  This may actually mean that it is clogging my pores a bit.

The bottle label mentions the list of essential oils and vitamins etc that are in the lotion.  I don’t actually think any research has gone into making this.  It’s more of a cocktail of good for you ingredients that have been whipped together to make a lotion.

To me, this is the same as any other cold cream, generic or otherwise, that is available in the market.  It’s also supposed to be preservative free and handmade and therefore needs to be refrigerated.   The label however does mention the manufacturing address as an industrial estate, and hence it is factory made (by hand) in larger quantities.

The expiry is 3 months from manufacture and you need to be careful to use Lisa Haydon Naked Potion Lotion up quickly. Check out Naked Bath Body Salt Scrub

Overall Thoughts

I find this a reasonably ok lotion – I guess I had much higher expectations in my mind.  The other issue is the extremely limited availability and storage constraints – for me to buy this again, it really needs to knock my socks off.   Clearly I will not be getting this again for now.  If Lisa Haydon Naked Potion Lotion was available more widely and did not need to be stored in a refrigerator, well maybe.

I was really tempted to buy this but the price stopped me. I guess this is suitable for dry skinned beauties. Nice review Dela!

Lana, it will definately work better on dry skin, but it really isn’t that amazing. I’m sure you’ll get something a lot better in the same price range

I actually liked it initially when I started using it for a while, great for winter days but it became too heavy for summer & you cant keep it for longer. Her products are too expensive for short term use She should atleast get them in small batches. I don’t mind the price but not wasting!
