Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation (Rs 3100) available at Sephora

I have a strong weakness to try out every foundation available in the market. I wanted to try out Lancôme foundation and after a bit of research got this one.

A word on the foundation:

Shade- I always buy foundations after going through online swatches as whenever I buy it from the store, I get a wrong shade so I always find my shade and then head to get that. I wanted the shade 320 BISQUE W but that’s US launch and found that shade 03 is the same shade in India. Lancome Teint Idole in Shade 03 is a perfect match for my nc35 skin tone. It has yellow undertones.

Packaging- The packaging is simple though it is elegant and classy with a frosted glass packaging. It has a pump dispenser which is receptive to touch. The packaging is neat and travel friendly.

Texture & Formula– Lancome Teint Idole foundation has an amazing consistency. It isn’t flowy or too thick. It is just apt and blends seamlessly for a flawless coverage. It has spf15 which is just fine as it doesn’t put a white cast in pics. The foundation has mild fragrance that feels exotic.

It like the finish of the foundation that isn’t too matte making the face look flat and lifeless nor too dewy. It provides a natural glow to face. The formula isn’t heavy and feels comfortable and breathable on skin.

Coverage/Pigmentation- As per coverage, one single layer evens out the skin tone, blurs redness and other imperfections and reduces the appearance of blemishes .Another layer provides almost full coverage. I try to conceal my pigmented areas using Lancome Teint Idole as a concealer as well. I would call it a medium to full coverage foundation.

Staying Power- I have used this foundation for 12 hours and it looked flawless after so long as well. It never cakes, never gets patchy, I have tried this in hot humid as well as cold dry weather and it performs amazingly in all weathers. The foundation did not break me out nor does it budge. My T-zone does get a bit shiny but that doesn’t look OTT. It provides somewhat dewy finish.

Overall Thoughts-

I am short of words to describe my love for this beauty. I feel like wearing Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation everyday. The foundation is great for bridal wear as well. I love it to the core. The finish, formula, overall performance is simply class apart.
