Packaging – Lancome Rouge in Love lipstick comes in a metallic silver tube which is quite heavy in weight. A beautiful rose embossed on the top of the Cap. The packaging is very much sturdy and won’t come out in a bag during travel. It is very beautiful on its own and definitely an eye catching one.
Shade – Lancome Rouge in Love Lipstick Rose Des Soupirants is a beautiful rosy pink shade which does have some coral undertones. The color on its own just reminds me of a full blown pink rose. It’s just look so fresh on the face. When one day we don’t want to have full blown look, I often reach out for this shade it just look bright and beautiful on the face. The shade does leads towards warm pink tones so it looks really flattering on Indian Skin tones. I would call this shade as a Happy Summer Pink Color.
Texture – The texture of Lancome Rouge in Love Lipstick Rose Des Soupirants is very soft creamy and glossy. It does provide soft shine to the lips. The lipstick glides very easily on lips and there is no sort of discomfort during the application. The formula is very much moisturizing, non -sticky and keeps the lips hydrated for a long time. Due to creamy in texture if you lips are not in healthy condition like flaky bits or chapped lips, it might get accentuates them so make sure your lips are well exfoliated and moisturized. It does not settle onto fine lines. I often skin lips balm when using this lipstick.
Pigmentation – It has an amazing pigmentation; it just gives 90% of the color to the lips on a single swipe. The color is very much buildable and with 2 swipes the color comes out pop. You can easily wear it as a stain as well. I really like the shade so I always like full blown color to my lips.
Staying Power – Lancome claims the color will stay for 6 hours and I agree it to some extent, it does stays for full 5 hours on lips with small meals, however the intensity does fades a little. After full meals the color fades leaving behind a beautiful tint. The color does transfers on every single thing and this is the reason behind the color losing its intensity.
Overall Thoughts
Being on a pricier side, the staying power could have been better however I still love Lancome Rouge in Love Lipstick Rose Des Soupirants for the color, texture, packaging and pigmentation, they are amazing in every aspect. I would say if you can afford this lipstick, do try for the amazing texture, you won’t regret at all.
