Lancome Blush Subtil 03 Rose Boise – Rs 1950, available at Lancome Counters I always had a special corner in my heart for blushes. Nothing fascinates me more than a beautiful blush. During my recent visit to Lancome I decided to try out their blushes. Unfortunately there are only 4 shades to choose from but Rose Boise instantly caught my attention. Its the kind of shade I am most comfortable in wearing.

What Lancome Says

This luxuriously silky powder blush glides on with its own brush to color and contour for a flawless application every time. Color stays true for hours; versatile finish never looks dry or dull, thanks to moisture-balancing ingredients that keep skin feeling completely comfortable. Oil-free and oil-absorbing. Ideal for all skin types.

Color - Lancome Blush Subtil 03 Rose Boise is a beautiful berry pink shade with fine golden shimmer. Due to fine shimmer it works as a highlighter too, it gives subtle glow to cheeks.

Packaging – It comes in black case with a mirror in the lid and a blush brush. The brush is made of soft bristles and is of good quality. The packaging looks chic and classy, though touching the case leaves finger prints all over it. Texture of the blush is silky and doesn’t feel chalky at all. It blends into the skin smoothly.

Pigmentation- The blush is superbly pigmented. Two sweeps and my cheeks get beautiful satiny glow ! Staying power is good. It stays on for good 7 hours on bare skin and 9+ hours over foundation.  That’s how it looks on me

Overall Thoughts

A beautiful shade for medium skintones. It looks absolutely stunning and imparts subtle glow. The blush is superbly pigmented and with a silky smooth texture. Unfortunately you get only 4 shades to choose from this range. The micro shimmer don’t look OTT. Classy black packaging with mirror and decent brush makes it travel friendly too. Only downside is the price.
