Lakme 9To5 Quartets have been around for quite a long time. I had Lakme Silk Route Quad for sometime however I didn’t use it much because of my love for my Urban Decay Naked Palette. Though one day while checking out some products I swatched Tanjore Rush quad and loved it. If you are subscribed to my YouTube Channel, you would have seen me using it many times.

Lakme Tanjore Rush has some universally flattering shades. Its one quad which is perfect for any wedding party or ethnic makeup looks. I like it more than Silk Route. There are 4 shades in this quad – Yellow Golden, Olive Green, Blue Purple, Bronze-Copper eyeshadow.

Texture & Formula – This is where I was most surprised. All the 4 eyeshadows have a smooth almost creamy texture, however they are quite shimmery. All of them apply and blend nicely. I have used almost all the colors from this quad numerous times and have created many looks from a simple day time to a heavy smokey party makeup look.

Pigmentation – All the 4 shades are very pigmented. Above swatch is on bare skin and these appear even vivid on an opaque eyeshadow base. I love layering & mixing them  with matte shades to create different looks.

I always use eyeshadow base/primer underneath so can’t say how long will these stay on bare lids. Also due to shimmery formula, you might observe fall outs after each application.

I have used the only the copper-bronze shade for this eyelook and absolutely loved the results. You can watch this video HERE which is one of my favorite looks till date.

Overall Thoughts
