I always had love-hate relationship with matte formulas, there are days when I love wearing them and some days I detest them. It entirely depends on the condition of my lips and formula of the lipstick. You all know matte lipstick will not hide the chapped, dry lips and amplify them, however on days when I am having a good-lip-day, I pull out my Lakme Pink Glam lipstick since the color is beautiful & bright and screams summer !

Shade – Lakme Pink Glam Absolute Sculpt Studio is a bright blue based pink which almost looks fuchsia. I was into neutral shades, I still am, however just to break the monotony I pick this shade and it instantly lifts up the whole look ! Texture & Formula – Lakme Absolute Sculpt Studio lipsticks have a beautiful formula. These glide on smoothly and feel velvet soft, however the finish isn’t velvety but at the same time its not flat matte. Formula doesn’t amplify lip lines and looks evenly smooth. However its always recommended to moisturise lips before hand to avoid desert-mouth because matte formulas have a tendency of sucking up all the moisture from the lips, this is how they stay on longer than regular creamy lipsticks. I haven’t seen the color moving out of the lip lines and it stays put comfortably throughout the wear.

Pigmentation – Lakme Pink Glam is surely quite pigmented. One stroke is all you need, however just to deposit color evenly I have to layer it twice. The color is pigmented enough to cover lip pigmentation and discoloration.

Staying Power – Pink Glam stays on for good 5+ hours on me and survives meals. Though It does start looking crumbly around the inner part of the lips, which only happens when I eat something.
