Lakme has recently launched Lakme Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Serum and Cream. Both of the products come in pink packagings. Serum comes in a pump bottle and Cream comes in a round jar.

Lakmé Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Serum consists of Luminizing Vitaminsthat make your skin more even and radiant; while the Light Reflecting Pearls highlight your skin texture. 

My Experience

I have been using Lakme Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Serum for little over 4 weeks now and this is what I have observed. I use 2 pumps of this serum every day in the morning after cleaning my face with a face wash. Serum is white in color and has a watery texture, it just sinks into the skin in no time and without leaving any residue. Skin doesn’t look or feel greasy afterwards. The serum has a strong scent but that subsides after 2 minutes or so.

Formula has some tiny shimmer particles and I believe that is for giving glow to the face, however the shimmer aren’t visible once you have applied the serum. Lakme Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Serum does brightens up the complexion, however I can’t really see it doing much for pigmentation or spots, as they are still there. It does makes skin soft and supple, that is what I like the most.

My Experience

Lakme Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Light Cream is light pink in color and has a thick consistency. Formula feels very light on skin and gets absorbed immediately. It moisturizes the skin without making it oily or sticky, and that makes it a good product for summers. Similar to serum , light cream also has a strong scent but again that doesn’t stay on for a long time.

I am using Lakme Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Light Cream with Serum and they together definitely make complexion brighter, however that shouldn’t be mistaken with Whitening as it doesn’t make my skin whiter or lighter than its natural skin tone.

None of the products from this range has broken me out or caused any skin irritation. However some amount of SPF would have been good.

Overall Thoughts

Lakme Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Light Cream & Serum can be a good choice if you are looking for light weight moisturizer for summer. Both of them moisturize skin without leaving any oily or greasy residue. If used together for 4 weeks or more , complexion does look brighter, however it doesn’t lighten or whiten skin , and also doesn’t do much for pigmentation and acne scars.
