Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme Review Photos Price

I am going to share my experience on Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme. Lakme’s Peach Milk range is one of the oldest skin care ranges in the affordable skin care category. I have grown up seeing my aunts using Lakme Peach Milk Moisturizer.

A couple of years ago Lakme reformulated the old Peach Milk Moisturizer and extended this range with a handful of moisturizers for every skin category. This range now has a moisturiser with spf and a body lotion as well.Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme Review Photos Price

I recently picked the Soft Creme from this range. This is actually a whipped cream with heavy texture. Though it is claimed to work on all skin types, it will fare dry to extremely dry skin only.

I have acne prone skin so this not at all a suitable product for my skin. I bought it for my dry body skin. Here’s my review on it.

About Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme

Lakmé brings to you the goodness of peaches and milk in a creme for the very first time! This whipped cream formula has a soothing fragrance which will make you fall in love with it instantly.

This deeply nourishing formula easily absorbs into the skin to lock moisture for 24 hours to give you soft, smooth glowing skin.

Apply the crème smoothly over face and neck. Use it in the day/night to get beautiful skin around the clock. This crème can be applied under make up. Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme Review Photos Price

Packaging: It comes in a off-white plastic tub with screw lid. Lakme provides all the necessary information in the sticker label glued in its body. Mostly brands provide a seal to cover the mouth of the jar but Lakme hasn’t given any extra cover for protection.

Tub products are not very hygienic. Product inside them get contaminated easily. Since this creme comes in a tub I keep it out of humid areas like my shower. Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme packaging is compact and spill-proof.

Colour & Consistency: Just like the tub, the creme too looks off-white in colour. Its consistency is medium. It is neither dense like a cold cream nor light like a gel cream. It’s something in between.

It is a whipped cream so it feels light on dry body skin. It gets absorbed as I massage into the skin. It keeps the skin moist but does not feel greasy on the body. On the face it feels oily. The formula is not free from parabens.Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme Review Photos Price

Fragrance: Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme has a light to moderate peach fragrance. If you have used the original Lakme Peach Milk moisturizer you’ll recognize the fragrance. They are almost identical.

The smell stays for a while and then goes off eventually. The light remains of the fragarnce won’t bother the senses.

Quantity & Price:  This creme comes at Rs.100 for 50gm. It has two more sizes available; 150gm (costs Rs.249) and 250gm (costs Rs.349). This is a pocket-friendly cream.

You can buy it online and offline from local stores or Lakme counters. It comes at discount both online and offline. Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme Review Photos Price

My Overall Thoughts:

Regular body lotions can’t make the cut for my dry body skin at all times. My skin needs something richer than that. As it’s monsoon I didn’t want to buy a proper winter moisturizer for my body.

Thick body lotions make the skin tacky and I don’t like the chip-chip feel in the humid monsoon weather. That’s why I am using Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme after shower these days. It is meant for the face so it is not that heavy on the skin. Plus, its thick formula combats the stretchy dryness.

This is a decent moisturizer for dry to very dry skin. I used it on the face once and the next day a pimple started forming. So, I immediately stopped using this on the face. I don’t think someone with oily skin can use this.

So, the ‘all skin types’ claim is not true. However, Lakme Peach Milk Soft Creme is working pretty good on my body skin. I apply it on my slightly damp skin. I use a purifying body cleamser. It makes my skin dry.

This creme helps in locking the moisture. The skin feels soft and moist for the entire day. I don’t have body acne issues. This creme did not induce one. I will recommend this as a body cream not a face cream.
