Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation (Rs 225 for 25 ml)
For picture-perfect skin, blend this ultra-light, water based foundation with invisible finish for natural exuberance. SPF 8 shields the skin from harmful rays and prevents skin darkening keeping it young & fresh.

I generally don’t find a good match in budget foundations. Most of the times there aren’t more than 3 shades available and I ended up not picking any. I used to see lots of my friends using Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation and after hearing couple of good reviews I decided to give it a shot.
Shade – I was matched to shade no 4 , which will suit NC 42-44 complexions really well. There are almost 6 shades available offering shades in both pink and yellow undertones. Shade No 4 has strong Yellow tones, something I don’t find in drugstore foundations generally.
Packaging is very basic. Lakme Invisible Foundation comes in a glass bottle with a spatula applicator. Spatula makes extracting the product easy, though I am not a fan of heavy glass bottles.
Formula & Coverage – Foundation is quite runny. It applies, spreads and blends nicely into the skin. I find the finish on dewy side and setting with a powder is necessary for me during summers. The coverage is light to medium and it evens out my complexion nicely. Formula is quite moisturizing without being sticky.
Staying Power – This foundation stays on me for good 3-6 hours. It starts fading from some parts of my face faster than rest, like around my mouth and undereye area. I generally use a primer underneath to make it stay on a little longer than how it does without it.
Overall Thoughts
I am quite pleased with the formula & shade range. Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation is light weight and evens out skin tone without looking cakey. It does wear out sooner however using a foundation primer underneath increases the longevity. Do try this if you are looking for an affordable foundation. You can buy this foundation HERE
