When its extremely hot and humid outside what kind of skincare products you like to use? I love gel based creams and serums. They are light weight and give a cooling sensation. I was very impressed with Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict Lipsticks and trying skincare from same range was very exciting.

1. Reflection Serum (Rs 899 for 30 ml)
2. Gel Creme            (Rs 399 for 50 g)
3. Overnight Mask     (Rs 599 for 50 g)

Lakme Absolute Skin Gloss Reflection Serum , is a clear gel serum. It applies and absorbed quickly giving a cooling sensation to skin. Its perfect for day time use during summers since the formula is non-sticky, light weight and moisturizing. It works really well under makeup. I use two pumps of this serum twice daily and my facial skin looks well nourished and supple.

Lakme Absolute Skin Gloss Gel Creme , is a blue colored gel cream which again feels so cool and immediately calms down any irritation caused by heat/ hot weather. I like how refreshing the formula is and again like the Lakme Absolute Skin Gloss Reflection Serum it also absorbs very quickly leaving no stickiness or shine behind. Only downside is that being a day cream it doesn’t offer any sun protection which is what I always look for while choosing a day cream.

Lakme Absolute Skin Gloss Overnight Mask, a white colored gel cream. Don’t get confused with the phrase “Overnight mask” , it works like a gel based moisturizer that boot moisture level of you skin and you wake up with a supple smoother skin.

I find Lakme Absolute Skin Gloss Range perfect for summers however dry skin girls may not find it equally beneficial in colder weather. Also the pump of Lakme Absolute Skin Gloss Reflection Serum gets stuck and once it came off also, so there is something that needs to be done with the fancy pump it comes with.

One thing that I didn’t like is how heavily scented all the 3 products are. Some people are very sensitive to strong scents however I have no such issues.

Overall Thoughts

Lakme Absolute Skin Gloss Range is perfect for summers. All the 3 products are gel based and feel light & cool on skin. Formula is light weight and non greasy, so will work perfectly for oily/ combination skin. It definitely makes skin soft and supple and I personally prefer gel based skin care products.
