When It comes to defining our eyes, we always search for a product which is easy to apply and which stays for a long time and also is super black. A perfect cat eye or a winged eye liner surely makes a mark. I personally look for a liner which has  a  precise brush  provided  with it  and which dries out fast after application as I have faced a lot problem with the non fast drying situation in my life . Earlier I used the old famous lakme insta liner which was okay too but it took hell lot of time in drying. I was keen to buy a liner from the absolute range – Lakme Absolute Shine Line Liquid Eye Liner Black as I have always loved lakme for it is kajals and liners .

Packaging – “Classy” is the word popped into my mind when I first saw it. It comes in black glossy cylindrical tube with grayish silver color  glossy brush handle and  with it is name written on the tube .Overall the packaging looks quite neat and easy to carry .

Shade – Lakme Absolute Shine Line Liquid Eye Liner Black as the name says ‘shine liner ‘. I had a different picture in my mind that it may have a glossy finish , but  I was wrong  it is actually a  true matte . It is just black in color not pitch black or jet black just black, but the color can be intensified by adding multiple strokes.  I was not happy with the color it provided me in one stroke as I wanted super black.

Pigmentation & Texture – Although I was not happy with grayish black color of this liner, but one thing I absolutely adored about this liner is the brush provided with it. It is super fine, precise and intact by which any one or even new liquid liner users can achieve a sharp clean line easily. Also it dries within 3 seconds which is a plus point too . The liner is well pigmented and gives a grayish black color in stroke but in order to achieve a jet black line, multiple strokes can help. This liner dries completely matte and stays easily on my oily lids for 5-6 hours,  after which the intensity becomes too low but it will not flake off .

Overall Thoughts

I again want to emphasize one thing is that Lakme Absolute Shine Line Liquid Eye Liner comes with a brush which I have fallen in love with it totally. It is super thin which gives a smooth eyeliner application. As of now I love the fact that the liner is matte , dries fast , has amazing brush , is long lasting. Only downside is that it’s not jet black . Being a jet black eyeliner lover. I still negate this point and will definitely repurchase it simply because of it is other good qualities which completely satisfied me.
