Lakme has launched quite a lot of new products in the past two months. First it was Lakme Masaba Matte Lip Crayons then 9To5 primer +Matte lipsticks and now Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color. I like how they launch a lot of shades under each range. The latest launch also has 18 shades to choose from. 
Lakme Absolute brings you the miracle beauty ingredient Moroccan Argan Oil, now in a luxurious matte slimstick called the Lakme Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color with Argan Oil. The luxurious silky formula of the Lakme Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color with Argan Oil nourishes lips, while delivering rich and intense color.
Packaging is gorgeous ! Sleek long gold case gives expensive makeup vibes however it is quite lightweight and made of plastic.
Shades – There are 18 shades in Lakme Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color range, however I picked only three test the waters also because the price is a bit steep. The shades are –
Rosy Lips – A beautiful rosy pink
Almost Red – Bright pink based red
Smooth Marsala – Deep red based brown
Texture & Formula – Now the texture of these lipsticks is matte. The sheer formula takes a bit to show up on the lips, which means you have to layer it atleast thrice for medium opacity. Formula is surprisingly quite comfortable and non drying. It doesn’t emphasise fine lines on the lips and stays put for a long time. I can see argan oil present in the formula doing its magic.
Finish is smooth & matte.
Pigmentation – Like I said these need a bit of work for medium-full coverage/ opacity. I have dark lips and 3 layers do the job for me.

Overall Thoughts
I quite like the formula and finish of Lakme Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color. They feel comfortable and non drying on the lips. Smooth finish and no emphasise on fine lip lines. The downsides would be price & pigmentation.

Texture seems to be nice with argan oil but I am seriously surprised on lack of colors I expected them to have rich pigmentation like the previous argan oil lip colours .
