Infused with actual Moroccan argan oil, this lip color has the ultimate power to nourish your lips along with intense pigmentation. It has a creamy texture that delivers a smooth and silky finish. Available in 15 vibrant shades, the entire palette is suitable for Indian skin tones.

Packaging is classy and sleek. Lakme Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color comes in a stunning gold packaging with shade names & number written on the bottom. Surprisingly the case isn’t heavy but its not flimsy either.

Shades – I have Lakme Soft Nude, Lush Rose, Ruby Velvet, Drenched Red today –

Soft Nude – A peachy brown , suitable for fair-medium complexions. I am not into such shades so this would need a darker lip liner for me.

Lush Rose – A bright Pink, again suitable for fair-medium complexions, deeper skin tones can also make it work by using a darker lip liner.

Drenched Red – Warm Toned Red. This is one of those shades that brighten up your complexion. I am into orange-red lipsticks and this one is pretty good shade.

Ruby Velvet – Deep Red, a classic one. A shade that would look good on all skin tones.

Texture & Formula – You get an moroccan argan oil infused formula which is smooth, buttery and moisturising. I find these like a breath of fresh air after matte lipstick revolution. We all need a break from those drying matte formulas and give out lips a dose of hydration. The texture of Lakme absolute argan oil lip color is buttery and glides on without tugging or pulling.

Your lips will stay moisturised throughout the wear and it doesn’t cling on to dry patches. In short I am quite enjoying them these days. There are few beautiful brown shades in this collection and I am definitely going to get one for daily wear.

Pigmentation – Medium coverage is what you get, shades may look different if your lips have pigmentation.

Staying Power – 3-4 hours, some of the shades leave mild stain behind.

Lakme Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color is priced at Rs 750, available online & in stores.

Overall thoughts

I am quite enjoying the formula of Lakme Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color. The buttery creamy smooth finish is so moisturising and keep lips comfortable throughout the wear. The range has a lot of shades to choose from. Only downside is the price which is a bit too steep.

Nice review but they are a bit pricey.
In this price range there are better lipsticks available in the market.

Nice review.. seems pricey to me…. I quite loved their 9-5 lip n cheek mousse that came affordable too.. tell me something, do these transfer a lot? Even Matte ones transfer at times, and these are creamier…so wondering?
