Lakme has been churning out new products every other month and most of them are quite good. This time they have done something different and have come up with Naturale Range in 9To5 collection which is known for long lasting makeup. This range claims to be aloe infused and has moisturising properties. The range has lipsticks, foundation , powder, day & night cream as well as Aloe Aqua Gel. Being a die hard fan of aloe vera gel,I had to pick this one up and test –
Made with 100% pure aloe vera, this gel is lightweight, non-sticky, hydrating and suitable for all skin types. It’s perfect for city life.The Aloe Aqua Gel works perfectly as a primer. Its smooth texture spreads evenly to create a soft, hydrated surface ready for application of any skincare or make-up.
The Lakme 9 to 5 Naturale Aloe Aqua Gel comes in green plastic jar with a rose gold lid. The jar is quite light weight and good for travelling. It has Lakme 9 to 5 Naturale Aloe Aqua Gel written in on it and ingredient list is mentioned on the cardboard box it comes in.
The Aloe Aqua Gel has 100% pure aloe vera gel along with other ingredients. So one should not confuse it with pure aloe vera gel. Aloe vera in the formulation makes it a good light day time moisturiser as well as a primer. The gel feels soothing and hydrating forming a slightly sticky base for the foundation to glide on easily. I like how my makeup looks even and smooth on the top of it.
Texture of the Aloe Aqua Gel is quite light and suitable for summer. It should suit all skintypes including oily / combination. However if you have very dry skin like mine, you would need an additional serum or cream with it so that the skin remains hydrated for a long time.
The gel has a mild scent and light green tint. 
Overall Lakme 9 to 5 Naturale Aloe Aqua Gel is priced at Rs 200 for 50 g which in my opinion is too high for such a small quantity. You can easily get 100% pure aloe vera gel from the market at much cheaper price which would do more or less the same job minus the parabens and chemicals.

I was surprised when Lakme launched an aloe-vera gel. I don’t think its worth it. As you said we can find many other pure aloe vera gels at lesser price in the market.

I didnt know that lakme have aloe vera gel as well. Aloe vera gel can be used as acne treament as well.
