Packaging: I must be honest when I say this – the packaging makes this particular range look way pricier than it truly is. It is done with a considerable amount of care, and the rose gold packaging with the light gold print of 9 to 5 is pretty attractive to look at.Shade: There is nothing red about the color “red chaos”. It is a lovely salmon pink, rather, with a little hint of coral. So yes, the only thing that might resemble chaos is your mind when you think – what was Lakme thinking when they named these lipsticks, especially this one? However, I can honestly say that this is slightly lighter than MAC Brick-o-la, and works well for people with fair to medium skin tone.Texture and Formula: Texture wise, this is one of the lightest lipsticks I have used. It is super-soft and glides on very easily over my lips. I love the fact that it is not drying at all, and applied carefully, it does not bleed or feather at all. Red Chaos has a light fragrance, which goes away after a few seconds of application. It has no discernible taste.

Pigmentation – The lipstick is also quite pigmented, and one swipe is enough to cover my lips and hide any pigmentation.Staying Power: Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick Red Chaos lasts for four to five hours easily on my lips, but goes away if I eat or drink. I like the fact that the lipstick fades into a very nice peachy pink stain, which looks pretty good too.

Overall Thought

I already have four lipsticks from this range and counting. These lipsticks are affordable, good quality, great packaging, and the colors are extremely wearable, especially in offices.
