I am a big fan of glitters and pigments and love to try every brand. LA Splash has recently introduced these Crystallised glitters and I got two of them. I am reviewing the shade LA Splash Mai Tai Crystallised Glitter today.
Description – A finely milled cosmetic glitter that can create a high-shine look for the eyes and is housed within a stunning rose gold sphere. Crystallized Glitter is lightweight and can be applied with ease, allowing full creative control. A sparse, delicate shimmer or a bold block dazzle can be crafted. Perfect for use all around the eyes, this precision cut glitter can also be used as liner.
Shade – LA Splash Mai Tai is described as deep bronzed copper but on Indian skin, it’s a pretty gold color glitter. It’s a great shade for Indian weddings and parties.
Packaging – These come in cute round balls and has a sifter inside and also a sticker to prevent spillage. I don’t peel off the sticker completely to avoid mess. These are quite handy and travel friendly and I have had no issues with them.
Texture & Formula – Here is the catch. While it claims to be finely milled, I found the particles to be bigger than the other glitters I have tried from MakeupForever, Kryolan etc. Some of the Mac Glitters also have the same texture as these. I am not a fan of chunky glitters as they fall out. I would not say they are overly chunky or gritty but the particles are definitely not super finely milled.
Staying Power – I was impressed because once you apply a glitter glue or glitter primer, these stay put until you remove them so fall out is never a problem with these.
That being said, they look pretty on the lids and there is no doubt about it. These are super easy to use, stay really long and give your eye lids that drama that is needed for special occasions.
LA Splash Mai Tai Crystallised Glitter is priced at $12
Overall Thoughts:
LA Splash Mai Tai Crystallised Glitter is a pretty Indian gold shade that is great to wear for parties and weddings. The packaging is super cute and these stay really well. If not for the chunkiness, I would have certainly got more shades.

The problem with these glitters is, they look extremely pretty.
The application and results depend on experience with makeup.
