Kryolan Lip Stain Gospel Review Photos Swatches Price

Kryolan has come up with quite a lot of new launches and one of them was the new Lip Stain. Liquid lipsticks are every girl’s must have now so I picked up a few shades in this range. About Kryolan Lip Stain :

Kryolan Lip Stain is a matt, color-intense, long-lasting and smudge-proof lip fluid. For easy removal use Kryolan Eye Make-up Remover. It comes in 12 shades though I found only 5 in the Chennai Kryolan store.

Shade – Gospel is a beautiful neutral pink color and is one of their fast selling shades. In fact recently when I visited the store, this was sold out. Gospel is a nice daily wear color, apt for working women. Kryolan Lip Stain Gospel suits fair-medium skin well. On dusky skin, it tends to wash out easily.

Packaging – It comes in a long plastic lip gloss type of packaging with an applicator. It is very travel friendly. I wish they had come up with a better brush as it starts fraying after few uses and I end up using the disposable applicators often. The shade names are specified at the back of the tube. The tube is transparent so it is easy to spot if you have many.

Compared to the ones available in drugstore and MAC, the quantity of Kryolan Lip stain is a lot and lasts you a long time. Also, the shelf life is 3 years so for the price, it is reasonable.

Texture & Formula – Texture wise, it is creamy and smooth, applies evenly on the lips. It feels light upon application but I found that after an hour or two, it does feel a bit dry. I can see little bit of lines on my lips after sometime. It does not show up in pictures though. It goes completely matte in few seconds of application and sticks to the lips.

Pigmentation is great as you can see in the picture. It is just one swipe.

Staying Power – That being said, the staying power is incredible. It can survive full meals and would not budge until you use a makeup remover. In fact I had to use my cleaning milk 2-3 times to take it off completely and my lips are sore now. So if you like long wearing liquid lipsticks, you will certainly like this.

Overall Thoughts

Kryolan Lip Stain Gospel is a lovely neutral pink liquid lipstick that is great for everyday use. Apart from the dryness, there is no reason you should not pick it up. I totally love the color on myself and have been wearing it a lot.
