Packaging – Kryolan Lip gloss retails in a transparent tube with a silver cap. It comes with a sponge tip applicator. The packaging is convenient to locate shades easily if you own more of these. The Kryolan lip glosses few of them have numbers and few have names.

Color – No 5 is a bright red with hint of orange undertone to it. The color looks very bold and true. The color will work on fair to medium and dusky skin tones. The shade is completely free from any shimmer or frost, it is like a thick cream.

Texture & Formula – I found the it a thick cream but yet non sticky. The formula glides on evenly and doesn’t settle in fine lines. It keeps lips moisturized throughout the wear. The lip gloss gives a pretty shine and glossiness. The formula is more like a lip cream than a lip gloss, a small amount of the product itself covers up lips well and gives an opaque finish. The lip gloss is non sticky and feels light on lips.

Pigmentation – The shade is nicely pigmented. It gives medium to full coverage. The lip gloss covers up all lip pigmentation easily and it gives bold opaque lips.

Staying Power – The lip gloss has good staying power. It lasts on me for about 4 to 5 hours and also survives light snacks. The color leaves a strong orange red tint to the lips after it starts fading. A makeup remover is required to remove the stain from the lips completely.

Overall Thoughts

The Kryolan lip gloss No 5 is thick cream in formula but non sticky and really comfortable on lips. The product is impressive in color, texture, pigmentation and price. I highly recommend it!
