Kiko Ultimate Pen Long Wear Eyeliner Review Photos Price

An eyeliner is a must have for me,infact for anyone who loves makeup. Its one of few things I make sure to keep in my everyday makeup bag for quick makeup. For me pen style eyeliners are always preferred over brush tip, since these are much easier to apply even when you are in hurry. I picked Kiko Ultimate Pen Long Wear Eyeliner during my last visit to Kiko Milano store.

Soft and flexible tip provides absolutely clean and precise line, with buildable thickness. Intensely pigmented and brilliant, Ultimate Pen Long Wear Eyeliner adheres perfectly to the lid, tracing a full line that holds over time. Capillary Sytem technology releases ideal amount of formula for maximum control during application and for a flawless result without smudging.

Packaging is like regular pen style eyeliner with a rubber grip, which makes it easier to hold and draw line. The tip is quite flexible and pointy, I get thin as well as thick line using it. You can add or reduce pressure to get your preferred thickness.

I got it in black and not sure if there are more shades available. I like my eyeliners to be intense black and matte. Kiko Ultimate Pen Long Wear Eyeliner is quite black and dries fast. Also it offers matte finish.

Formula is quite opaque which means intense black line in one stroke, I don;t have to go over and over again to finish the line. Also the tips is always saturated with liquid and I hardly ever have to struggle with it. Like I mentioned it dries almost immediately, so no transferring on the eyelids.

Now coming to not so good points of Kiko Ultimate Pen Long Wear Eyeliner. The formula is not smudge proof or water proof. I didn’t know that otherwise I wouldn’t have picked it. My eyes get watery easily and non-waterproof formula isn’t for me.

The eyeliner stays on for good 5+ hours on me which is quite good, it does fade from the outer corner though.

Overall Thoughts

If you want and intense black matte formula then do try Kiko Ultimate Pen Long Wear Eyeliner. It is quite opaque and stays on for a really good time without causing any irritation to the eyes. However for me the biggest drawback is the non-waterproof formula.
