A good compact and a concealer is all I need for everyday makeup. There are times when I skin even concealer and go only with the powder, because I don’t like shiny eyelids and face. I was using Inglot Pressed Powder & Faces Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder for the longest time and during one of my recent visits to Kiko store I picked a new one. The makeup artist there applied it on me and I loved the smooth & silky texture of the powder which immediately blended into my skin. Kiko Radiant Fusion Baked Powder is my most used powder these days.

Baked powder with a luminous finish, micronized pigments and precious mineral extracts that help smooth and add radiance to the skin. The formula is enriched with vitamin E and argan oil that contain nourishing and protective properties. When applied, the colour glides on and blends very easily. It’s silky and ultra-fine to the touch. The baked formula brings out the colour’s pure essence, ensuring even colour coverage.

Packaging is beautiful metallic square compact with round edges and magnetic closure. I love how sturdy and solid it feels in the hand. The metallic finish does cause finger prints on it but once you wipe it off with a piece of cloth, the shiny clean surface comes back. The mirror inside is very useful for on the go touch ups and travel.

I have picked shade No 05 which is half a shade lighter than my skintone. I personally prefer half a shade lighter powders when they have sheer finish/ no coverage. Because I mostly use them for setting concealer under my eyes. I really enjoy the soft non-powdery & smooth texture of Kiko Radiant Fusion Baked Powder. This reminds me of MAC Mineralize Skin Finish which I used to love 4 years ago.

Since this is a baked formula, it is good for dry skin. It doesn’t mattify skin and prevents it from looking patchy or dry. I love the radiant/ luminous finish it offers. I also use it to set my foundation using Real Techniques Kabuki Brush or PAC Powder Brush to apply.

Coverage is sheer and wouldn’t conceal blemishes but it does take away the excess shine without making skin flat matte. It is good for setting concealer & foundation since the powder is finely milled and doesn’t make the makeup look cakey.

Kiko Radiant Fusion Baked Powder is priced at Rs 1400 (approx) available at Kiko Stores

Overall Thoughts

I am very impressed with the smooth fine texture of Kiko Radiant Fusion Baked Powder and would recommend it to all those who have dry skin. This powder is perfect for everyday makeup.
