I strongly feel that there are hardly any good skincare brands in India readily available which are effective and little easy on pocket. Ever since the so called “ACCHE DIN”, the hike in prices across the brands are something to worry about. I will not rant much and will come to the review of one of the decent exfoliator – Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective White Skin Brightening Exfoliator.

My skin type – I have combination to oily skin which is dry in winters and hence I use all dry skincare products according to climate.

What the brand says – It is said to give brightening effect – Simple!

How do I use this – I take a coin size on my palm and spread this gently all over face with circular motion. Then after an even layer I wet my hands and again with circular motions try to scrub off the dead skin. It turns into a cream form and foams a lot and spreads nicely, I wash it off with warm water after the scrub turns completely white.

The after effects – I have used Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective White Skin Brightening Exfoliator for months in summers and find that my skin was soft,  but teeny tiny dry as it is foaming and you know how foams take all the moisture from our skin. I have stopped using this now as it’s little drying these days but nevertheless as it’s in tube form I wall again start using this After April. I find that it is decent exfoliator and a good option instead of abrasive scrub.

Overall Thoughts

There are very less good exfoliating products available in India. Most of them are abrasive scrub with big plastic beads that harm our skin with regular use. This is why Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective White Skin Brightening Exfoliator is great option, which is available easily across India. If you have breakouts and dry skin I wouldn’t recommend this at all.
