Kama Ayurveda Mridul Soap Free Facial Cleanser (Rs 425 for 40g)

I have dry skin and any product with “Soap Free” written on it works like a magnet. Kama Ayurveda Mridul Cleanser was on my list for a long time but I wasn’t able to grab one.

This product is a natural face cleanser. It is non-drying and can be used as a daily alternative to soap. A traditional combination of herbs, cereals and pulses that gently cleanse and exfoliate facial skin. Amongst its ingredients are oatmeal, green gram, almond, neem, sandalwood, turmeric, rose and fennel. Leaves face fresh and radiant.

Mridul Soap Free Cleanser comes in a steel-tin. The actual product comes carefully sealed in plastic bag along with a wooden spoon which is super cute & handy. I love the scent of it which surely reminds me of Fennel Seeds, the powder also looks like fennel seeds powder.

How To Use –

Take a spoonful of Mridul Cleanser on your palms and pour some water over it. Rub your palms together to make a not-so-paste-like paste and rub it on your face in circular motions. I generally concentrate on problem areas on my face i.e. dry patches or acne prone jaw line. I rub the cleanser for good 1 minute, very gently and then wash it off with plain water. I can instantly see smoother texture and clean skin without dry parched feel that regular face washed leave behind.

My Experience 

I love Kama Ayurveda Products infact I love any skincare product which claims to be made of natural, chemical free ingredients. I have realised the importance of using as less chemicals on your skin as possible to keep it problem free in future.

I use to have dry patches on the sides of my nose and on my cheeks, ever since I have started using Kama Ayurveda Mridul Soap Free Cleanser those dry patches have disappeared. Since the formula doesn’t rip moisture off my skin, I don’t have to layer too many products which further prevents congestion of pores and breakouts.

I use Mridul during night time and have been loving the product so far. Please remember this product neither claims nor removes makeup, also I wouldn’t recommend it using around the eyes because of its granulated texture. With this cleanser I can completely skin using an additional exfoliator since it doubles up as a scrub as well. The formula doesn’t feel coarse which makes it good for sensitive skin as well.

I am quite pleased with the formula & performance of Kama Ayurveda Mridul Soap Free Cleanser and would love to pick a backup when I am at the store next time.
